CONCERNING PAYPAL FEES (When sending money as gift/family&friends)
PayPal will charge fees if you meet any of the following criteria:
You do not live in the same country as I do: Since I live in the US, there should be no fees associated with the "Family or Friends" option if you also reside in the US. Those outside of the US get charged a fee of 1% of the total transaction (i.e. fee of $0.10 if sending a payment of $10.00).
You are using a Credit Card to fund the payment:
There is always a fee when using a Credit Card as the source of the payment (Debit cards are treated as Credit Cards as well). The rate is approximately 5.9% of the total transaction (i.e. fee of $0.59 if sending a payment of $10.00).
If you do not have the "Family or Friends" option
Should you for any reason be unable to use this option on PayPal, the fees for sending a regular payment is always 3.9% of the total transaction plus an additional $0.30. For example, if you want to buy a game for $10.00, you would need to send a payment of $10.72 ($0.72 in fees).
PayPal will not give you the option to pay fees with normal payments so when you send the money you will need to input the entire amount including fees. Failure to do so will result in me refunding the net amount I receive and canceling the trade unless you are willing to make a second payment to cover the rest of the cost.
