noob question - can I activate watch dogs on steam with that key? I have an extra civ 6 key from an nvidia promo I would trade for watch dogs 2 if I can get it in my steam library.

PermalinkSadly no, it's through Ubisoft's uPlay service. Though when getting the game through Steam, you'll still have to download and install uPlay if you don't already have it - Steam would launch uPlay.
As far ask I know, the only difference buying/activating on Steam is that Steam would track achievements and time logged in addition to uPlay doing those things.
