FYI , these codes only work till Jan 2013. The game will be removed from your library once time is up.
From the site: "Download expiration date is up to January 31, 2013. After this time you can download the "Hitman Sniper Challenge" will no longer be able to (what you have downloaded in due time you can play not only the expiration date)."
My interpretation of this google translation is as follows:
1) You can generate and redeem a Steam code up to the date mentioned
2) You can still play the redeemed game after this date.
If you are fluent in Japanese and say "the google translation is wrong" then so be it ;)
You're right about the code expiration but you're wrong about the game, it stays in your library just like any other games. Read the official FAQ. It'll tell you.

Well, they were not free until today, only if you had a preorder, and also that website ran out of keys. So, good luck getting one for free. :)
It's the Starvoid fiasco all over again... People taking advantage of a flawed system to gain profit.
I've given lots of stuff away for nothing since joining Steam, I would never dream of hoarding free keys to trade for legitimately purchased games. I guess I'm one of the few users here that actually has morals though...

I've had fun so far with this kinda sucks that some people have actually paid for it then there's these free keys with no real way to tell the difference other than during activation I think.
I wrote to you on Steam. Now I know where did you get this shity key. Today I've tride to activate it and Steam says it's duplicate. I gave you a tradable game for it. It was not fair :/
I've re-added you as a friend to sort this out asap... I've been told by other users that certain keys are now region locked to a specific region. I was under the impression you would of activated the key before trading with me to make sure it works fine.
I didn't send you a duplicate I have a key list and make sure the ones I send out to specific users are removed once sent. I'm not sure why it would be telling you it's dupped but I'll get you something when you re add me as a gesture of goodwill due to the inconvenience
In future I would recommend not leaving flame comments on users steam profiles and rather re-adding them to sort the matter.

I have an extra actually. Saw this when it just started. I used one of my country specific email and received no verification for ages so I thought it was region problem and tried another generic email and wouldn't you know it, they both showed up together so... Anyone who has interest to try out this game? I am not giving to those who just want to add another game into their library collection.
Probably it will not work. All keys were duplicated.
Example:
I took a key at 01:00pm and didn't activae it
You took same key at 06:05pm and activated
At 06:06 I'm not able to activate my key cause you did this.
That's why I said "becareful with those japan beta keys"!

It can't be done any more. Steam has region locked all the famitsu keys. Bottom line is that if you're not running/installing it from a japanese ip, it'll give you that message.
