I was trading with a 0/0 rep guy here. He send me a key first. I tried to use it but it was duplicated. I told him and he accused me of scamming (understandable I get it) but would not listen and was very vulgar when I tried to reason with him. My valve probation (from a misunderstanding that I had previously dealt with) and previous negative reps don't really help my case.

Anything advice?
I personally don't think theres anything I can do other than take the negative rep and the potential valve investigation but I'm all ears.

He can see that u dont have the game in your account, so is easy to see that key no works...

I tried to explain that. He didn't listen.

But a counter argument would be that I activated on a different account, which I don't have a way of proving that I didn't.

and he gave me dead island goty that was from tremor games.
at the end he kept spamming me with profanity and I got annoyed and closed the chat window, which I shouldn't have. So i don't have screen shots

That is from something else a while back that I sorted out with valve. And combined with my previous negative reps, I don't look too good.
