Perhaps there is no difference. :D
In Japanese steam store, in many cases it will limit the language. But the gift does not have it. Sometimes there is such a thing.
But I can not have responsibility. In front of the trade, please check the SteamDB! :)
Incidentally I have sold about 20 gift last year of the sale, there were no complaints.
