Maybe this noob trader FForFadhlan http://steamcommunity.com/profiles/76561198007915122 can read this, and see that his Dota 2 pack gift, is a single dota and he wanted more than 60usd +sweets for it, now he is QQ in my thread about that.. i'm felling sorry for the guy who believed him.
does this mean that If I trade my Dota 2 1-2 I have to trade the Dota 2-2 too?
Dota 2 - 2 pack is single Dota for only 1 person
yes, it does sound weird, and I have no f-ing idea why Valve called it that way, but its reality.
I am little tired of all traders who are merchandising their Dota like : "you will get extra invite in inventory when you unpack it"
NO :)
I tested 2 copies yesterday on friends account, and few more people also activated and reported to me that it is single.
Dota 2 - 2 pack gift is just 1 dota for 1 person and does not give any more additional invites, 100 % tested
Back in December there were some versions, called : Dota 2 + 2 gifts, or Dota 2 hardware survey + gifts, and yes they were giving 2 additional invites once you activated them.
I know, because I started to trade Dota 3 months ago.
Feel free to bump because its bad to people trade and than feel bad when they dont get extra invite.
Also, person who trade, meybe he also dont know, so dont put blame on him.
And I hope Valve can fix this mess
ps. just bonus for people who dont know : you can win key (like letters and numbers 354535-dfggdfgg-545456456), on playdota forum :

in this thread (read the rules):

In past, once you win key and activate it, you would get 2 invites, but from 2-3 weeks ago, keys are also single, so watch out for that. And its not recommended to trade for key anyway.
Also 1 thing that confuses many people, if your account is new and you dont have purchased games, you will get 2 not-tradable invites (if you find key that have + 2).
If you have new account (Im not sure whats restriction, 30 or 90 days), you will get not-tradable invites.
You can send them as gifts, true steam or on someones email, and he can activate them, but you cant trade tham using Steam trade screen.
Gifts become tradable after 30 days from point they were created. Same rule is applied for purchasing.
If new account wants to buy game for trading, and buy and store game in inventory, that game will become tradable after 30 days.
If you have more useful suggestion regarding trading, write them, I can update 1st post, or bump this untill most people learn about Dota 2 - 2 pack gifts
