No u can't make it a gift if u redeem it. And u might want to look for a bit better deal for that key,cause the games u want worth around 10$
you cant redeem keys and keep them as a gift, they go straight to your library :) have fun with your other copy of last light... looks awesome.

Seeing how you can get an actual tradable gift for $30 in trade, no he can't really expect the same for a key. Still, it's a nice new game.
