Dude why'd you remove me from your friends list? I told you Steam updated their terms of service so I can't gift it to you on Steam but I can still get you a GOG key.
I can go first and give you the game key before you give me your CSGO key if that's alright with you.
If you read the actual post he only wants tradable gifts, not worthless GOG keys you can get by just buying the game on Steam for less of the price of one key.
If you knew about Steam's recent updates you'd know that Steam gifts no longer are tradable so a game key would actually be a better option if he was planning on reselling it
no it wouldn't. Pre-existing gifts are still tradable as they have always been. You just can't buy game as steam gifts anymore. Gifts bought before that still work exactly as they always did.
Exactly, you can't do it anymore and not everyone has tons of games stored in their inventory prior to the update, especially if you're just starting out on this website. I would have at least liked it if Craig had told me "no I'm no longer interested" instead of abruptly removing me without discussing anything.
This type of stuff happens a lot. From your perspective, a long debate might seem worthwhile, but when you've heard it all many times before, it's clear that it's best just to move on.
