By Steam I mean that I have no interest in Uplay, Desura, or Origin. Keys from external sources that still activate on Steam are perfectly fine.

Community's a bit dead. With an issue like that with an indie game, I'd need another copy, which Dead Island isn't really worth in my opinion. Good luck trading though
