Try to check the join date to steam from the steam trades link he gave you and from the steam chat ( so you will have 2 communities page open ) , if the date doesn't match , he is scammer , if they match try to continue looking for like games in account and etc.
You could also try to add him nickname and if the community page from the steam trades doesn't update the nickname and link from steam chat does , its not his community page and he is scammer

you'll notice that he has a ton of comments on his account. what you need to do is the check the number of games on both accounts and the number of comments on both accounts. these cannot be perfectly copied by a scammer. Please read the sticky posts before trading. I've avoided getting scammed many times using this.
