EDIT: Yeah, well, obviously I did NOT get a Crysis 2 for that price. At least not a Steam copy. But it was worth a try.

So, you see, i'll just try it.
Crysis 2 is now 40$. I can offer dead space for it. Or coh complete or Orion for two/ one+sweets. Why? Because the boxed copy is only 5.12$ on amazon.com (just checked it) and because it was on sale for 10$ on origin.

i doubt anyone will do that as you guys just count steam as the only platform possible for valuing games. But if anyone can follow my idea, well, feel free to post.

the problem is not how cheap the boxed copy and origin are. the problem is the crysis 2 on steam is $40 and people have to pay $40 to trade your COH complete or Orion or dead space+sweets which they can easily got both for less than $20. unless you have a sweet that worth around $30(for example the new Civ 5 DLC). I dont think you can make that happened.

Again. Have you read it? I'd say it makes sense somehow. I never even said I want a tradeable copy. So one could actually buy the boxed copy and send me the key (if you can activate it on origin without the DVD).

erm, you cannot compare the boxed copy to the steam copy, since the only way to get a steam copy is to buy it off steam, whilst with the box copy you can use origin if you want. so whilst it was on sale, (origin copy), the steam copy was never on sale. just my 2 cents.

true... Well, it's anyway interesting to see that most people automatically think of a steam copy. Seems like Valve brain-washed us all :P
