Dude. Trust me: The War Z sucks. It's terrible. You can't make it through a couple hours of playtime without losing everything to a hacker, and that's on the small servers. On servers with 20+ people (max is like 30 or 50), you will die nearly instantly. No one is friendly, and this problem is exacerbated by the fact that there's no voice chat.
On top of these flaws (which are only a small portion of the crap that is The War Z), the game is a complete and utter ripoff of DayZ. The whole marketing campaign for War Z has been fraught with accusations and proof of guilt that they used other developers' content and ideas and are trying to profit from them.
Take my advice: Trade for Arma II: Combined Ops (same price, infinitely more capability) and download Play With Six. This will open up a massive world of super fun mods for you (including DayZ!), not to mention an extensive single player campaign as well. I'm telling you dude, you will be wasting your money and missing out. Buy ARMA. Peace and good luck!
No problem dude! Trust me, just DayZ alone is a ton of fun, especially if you find some people to play with. But Play With Six will give you a bunch of other mods that you can play as well, and they're just as fun too.
