Make a thread on steamrep.com yourself. Or just ignore when epople fell for basic "scams". Its not your fault that someone else gets tricked.
Is it sufficient that the guy is using my name and profile pic or what other proof would I need?
I would make a screenshot of it and attach it. Im not sure if its necessary but its not that much work, so just get it and attach it.
Also Im not sure if its even worth reporting them, usually they just keep doing that with another account when their "old scammer" account gets tagged. So I mean its maybe not even worth your time, since the majority of the reports on steamrep are useless. Any report on a new account just causes that the scammer creates another new account (and can repeat this as often as he wishes).
So 5 minutes ago someone repped me for scamming them.
As I never traded with that person I added them and told him/her I never traded with him before.
They gave me this link after admitting it was a mistake: Profile page
So apparently I now have an impersonator using a private profile.
I told the victim to make a thread on steamrep
Is there anything more I can do about this? I'll try to get a copy of Brutal Legend (which the victim lost) and give it to them.
