That doesn't sound like a scammer. He doesn't even understand what you are asking of him.
I agree with the first dude, this guy doesn't sound like a scammer. Sounds like just a big misunderstanding, especially since he was trying to use a Tank4life1, and not just some random unknown profile. + you shouldn't really accuse someone of being a scammer without definite proof, otherwise you just killing their rep.
as per usual, you should always check steamreps before a trade, and use a trusted, well-known middleman.
Other than the other people stating he's done the same thing, there's no real indication of him being a scammer there.
You accused him of charging back right after asking for a middleman.
I'm kinda curious as to what a middleman could do for you in this situation as you have 45 days to open a dispute on PayPal. Are they supposed to hang onto the money and games for that long? lol
True, but I didnt want to go first or have a random middleman. But the fact that he linked me to a profile which has a clean steamrep makes me think he was, but he does seem a bit confused. Ill close this.
