I never played monster hunter, but I am liking Dauntless. Technically for me not many issues in closed beta. One crash for the time I played so far (15+ hours since Sep 1st), so it seems pretty stable. Gameplay is a bit grindy, since you will be fighting the same monster a few times for some materials for crafting gear, but the fights are really fun.
