Your account is permanent like steam.
the difference: on steam you dl by steam , on non steam you dl on Uplay (but steam , or non steam U MUST have an account on Uplay to play it, achivements are uplay only even if you buy the steam version).
i go first in trade only with ppl with good rep on steam and steamtrades , and who have more than 150 games on their account. ( and not only low games from bundle pack)
