Okay I was under the impression there was an 'official' way to redeem keys as gifts but apparently there isn't! So, any key trading would have to be done on the honor system and I guess that isn't very good for me lol.. being a new member and all. I'd be willing to go first for folks that have good rep if anybody wanted to swap keys. Thanks again for reading.
Hourly bump as per the rules. I wish I had read more fine print than the comments saying 'Just choose the most expensive games in the redemption list and then trade them for what you want'. Seems like it will be very hard when I have no rep and have only keys that can't be traded or gifted x) Should have just gone with Sleeping Dogs and Saints Row IV. Any advice would be welcome.. like I said I will send keys first to established users, no problemo.
Hi there, I'm new to Steamtrades.. I recently built a PC including an AMD R9 290 GPU and qualified for the Never Settle Gold Reward. Alien Isolation is the only game on the redemption list that I really wanted and I read about Steamtrades and how you could trade the keys for games you didn't really want for things you DID want. So, here I am.
I'm not a huge Steam gamer and I'm not positive how the whole system works but I've read up at http://www.steamtrades.com/trade/tIA8K/trading-guide-humble-advice-from-yours-truly so I think I can figure it out. I have my Steam ID and a group created for trading purposes...
I chose older and less expensive games for my want list.. I'm not looking for a 1:1 value trade. Hoping to save people some money if they want Sniper Elite 3 or Murdered while getting things that I will actually play.
Ideally would like to trade either of these for Borderlands 2 GOTY Edition and the other for either Skyrim Legendary Edition or both Fallout NV Ultimate and Fallout 3 GOTY. Unless I'm mistaken that would save someone 10 bucks on either title I have.. but like I said I'm not totally positive how things work here. Another possibility if you wanted both Sniper Elite 3 and Murdered would be to work out something including the new Borderlands... maybe the new Borderlands and Fallout NV Ultimate or something? I dunno.
I am open to other suggestions and combinations.. I generally like shooters, sandbox and RPGs. Would really prefer the things in the want list if possible though. I will try to respond to any replies or offers as quickly as possible.. I'll be on my PC working out bugs most of the day.
