If I trade for something on my wishlist, I'll be activating it immediately (because these are all things I want to play, not for future trades). Know that I’m generally not terribly interested in trading the keys I know ‘belong’ to me (I.e. I can track under my account) for keys where I can’t check the status and I don’t know the origin, so if you offer me something that isn’t high on my wishlist (or even something that I don’t plan to play at all), you’d have to come in with a pretty sweet deal for me to go along with that. I'm not in a hurry to get rid of any of my keys or get any of the things on my wishlist, and I'm horribly neurotic about going in and making blank offers myself, so hopefully you come in here to drop a suggestion about what you'd like to get and what you'd like to offer.
I judge the value of keys based on the market average and not on any price listed on Steam. An offer that might look incredibly generous in terms of Steam prices will not be considered a generous offer if the going prices tell a different story. If you’re a newer trader and you make what I consider an uneven offer, no worries. If you’re not and you still hit me with a lowball or otherwise unfair offer, I won’t see it as an opportunity to barter and negotiate—I’ll just nope out, and there’ll be no point in us trying to continue there or elsewhere (even if you delete your post to try to cover your tracks lol).
