Unless it's like that, upon activation it would be listed in the account details as COD: AW SA (assuming its from south america) is that the case? Or is it listed as plain COD: AW ?

Right now is tagged SA, but there is no activation lock, the tag does not make any difference on your account details, i for example own valiant hearts RU, steam does not retro lock your activated games, the same can't be said about gifts sitting on your inventory.

Yep, I know and agree with that. But they can change the value on the steamdb entry "onlyallowrunin" = SA on release day which is why i'm skeptical. Anyways thanks
