I'm pretty sure that you've been scammed by impersonator. If you'll open Marco steam profile (link is in his steamtrades profile), you'll see that he have 730+ games and 8+ years in steam, while the profile on your screenshots have 500+ games and 5+ years in steam. Unfortunately this is common practice, when users are set profile name and picture same as reputable traders and try to scam people, new to this website. You should always check steam profile, connected to steamtrades profile, before do any trade with user.

He seemed legit to me. That really sucks. He had a lot of +rep too.

He hadn't any rep, that's all rep of real Marco and that user, who scammed you, is clearly not him. Open Marco's steamtrades profile, then open his real steam profile from here, compare with your screenshots and you'll see the difference. Anyone can set whatever nickname and picture on his steam profile, that's what scammers do, they pretend to be users with high rep and send you links to steamtrades profiles, which aren't their.

Shit happens, next time always check what steam profile are connected to steamtrades profile before trade and never trust to just nickname and profile picture of user.

That's what scammers do, they scan steamtrades topics for offers from fresh users, then quickly set their steam nicknames and pictures to some reputable person, involved in trade, and send you invite with hope, that you won't check it.
