And that's really odd, are you sure that's what happened? I find it kinda hard to believe a 200+ rep trader would scam someone for a mere 2 keys... unless his account was hijacked.

It could be an impersonator. Don't assume just because someone links you reputation, that it isn't someone copying their profile to scam you.

That is ok, just be very careful and double check that the person's Reputation links to the steam profile you are trading with. One quick way is to click the 'view steam profile' link on the rep page, and look for your own name in their friends list. That way you know for sure you are trading with the right person.
