i think you should lower it a bit, you can get a gift copy for 4 keys, anyway tx for the answer
I've had people tell me that before when I have tried trading keys, that the "key" price should be lower than the "gift" price. In every instance I decided to just bide my time and see what offers I could get. Each time I have eventually found a buyer willing to offer the "gift" value for the "key"... After experiencing this enough times I am convinced that this is just a ploy to try and get a cheaper deal. A gift and a key are exactly the same after you've claimed them. The only time I can see a difference is if the buyer intended to trade the game to someone else, in which case he surely would not want to offer me the game's true worth to begin with.
i agree with you and i have traded many times for keys, since i want to play the games i trade for, but its just that the seller usually has bought it much cheaper or even has been gifted the key, or its a promo key from buying a graphics card, so thats why they are usually cheaper, but even at cheaper price both parties win and thats what matters.
Yeah, this particular key came from a 4-pack I bought so I guess that makes each copy a little bit cheaper than an individual game. Though in this case I only needed 2 of the copies and have already traded the third copy for 4 TF2 keys, so that's what I am pretty much considering my "Buyout" bid for this forth and final copy. If someone offers that then it's a done deal. Otherwise I am willing to negotiate other offers and see what comes of it.
That is indeed a fair offer, though I will have to get back with you in the morning. It is far too late here at the moment. If there are any more offers between now and when I wake up then I will address those as well. I still think 4 TF2 keys would be my preferred offer if I can get it.
