He pretended he has MGS V and lied to me. I gave him the cd-key, when he told me to wait a couple of minutes for his (mostly fake) friend to activate the code. I've waited for about 15 mins or more, after which he removed me from his friends list and blocked me... Such a jerk. Be aware of him!!!

The codes/coupons may have restrictions which can be easily bypassed with VPN, so maybe you may need to use VPN depends on your location, but the game itself will be region free.
Where does it really say it is against the rules? I only see the word 'intended' thrown around in the redemption faq

it's not against the rules. but since the promotion can only be verified on 1 piece of hardware per code. people will sell these codes obviously can't redeem multiple copies of the game.
if you know anyone you can trust to activate it for you, i can suggest doing that. also you will need a brazilian vpn during the redemption on GFE.

An important tip: ZombieCat is a guy from Denmark and just made the trade with me. He used a Brazilian VPN and had no problems in the activation process, it is a safe and reliable procedure. You can check it you he right now, if you want.

unrelated, i would dispute that negative rep. i had one on my profile, even though i also traded with no issues. i managed to get it removed in the end, cause it was baseless.

I just stopped caring about that negative at some point and shrugged it off, so I just didn't bother responding to it. the user did come back way later just to change their review to negative, though. was kind of funny.. in a way. it's what I get for being honest, I guess.
