You do realize the steam auth doesn't work with tablets right?
It needs a REAL phone number to work now, virtual IP phone numbers are blocked by it; I tried a few months ago with like 3-4 different ones.
And I am not getting a smart phone just to get instant trading on steam.

It does actually work on tablets, its what I used before. I simply dont trade with people who dont have steam auth, same with a lot of other people.

No, it doesn't work on tablets, it only works on things (called smart phones) with real phone numbers. I have tried using a IPad, it only allowed me to do settings and friends list, no authenticating at all. So you are a liar.
And people can still trade fast without using the steam trades, it's called using the gifting feature and trusting people with no negatives, which neither of us seem to have.
This wouldnt work due to you paying in cards. Cards must be traded in a trade. Like i said, im not going to wait a week when someone else can come and take them within a few minutes.
How bout this then too, give me a link to a webby that has a guide on how to use a IPad/tablet for steam auth WITHOUT a real phone number that works.... or STFU about tablets working with steam auth and face the fact you are lying your ass off about that.
Lol? Im not lying man, I HAVE used it before with an amazon tablet. It doesnt look for the devices phone number. It allows you to put in your number, then it sends a code through text. So you can get the code through text then put it on the tablet, it will give you a 7 day trade ban for a new device and then your done.

It's 15 days wait without an authenticator moron, and I guess they changed it then, I used to be able to gift the cards cause I gave cards to a friend before.
So sorry to waste your and my own time then, especially since your the one with stupidity (and likely running in the family) since you wont even THINK about trading games with me then or have the patience to do the trade and wait, and if someone else comes along who can trade faster wanting the stuff I do, and cancel and trade with him instead.

Too bad I have already installed and uninstalled the auth on a IPad long ago; and I do have a SMS capable phone; but I do not have access to it 24/7 to have it handy every time I log in to steam since I share it with my roomies. So I will not be enabling it, and I don't like the idea of it either way even if I did have the phone with me 24/7.
What's also too bad is your own stupidity, you replied to my trade post without mention of my cards before, so there were some games you wanted at least, and now you don't seem to care. Nor do you even care to think about doing the trade and waiting the 15 days, and should someone else come along who can give you a better or faster trade, cancel it; wouldn't bother me any, shouldn't bother you either; and if no one comes along, then our trade goes through... win-win for us both, you mostly, but it's no real loss to me if you canceled it. How likely is it some one or others would want them all? Actually, your the one who started the trade by replying to MY post, so it goes by my rules, not your's, which were on my trade post at the bottom; while your post has no rules period.
And I never said I ever had the auth, I never said anything of it till you popped the trade on steam on me. I had no clue they screwed over gifting cards because no one has traded them with me before and I offered to trade in cards with you since you had the cards listed has prices.

While I have over 150 trades done (some more recently done on the barter site) and been trading for about 3 years off and on with no negative rep/feedbacks anywhere I know of.... yet you're the only one bytching about having to use mobile auth to trade with someone; and yes, about a dozen or so of those 100+ trades have dealt with steam gifts before.... and guess what, no problems.

I run a marketing service for indie devs through steam. Im personal friends with a lot of devs, I have more to show for this being a fake account. Lol suspicious reason, level 93, steam employee friend and multiple successful devs that I talk to on a regular basis. Suck my ass with a straw.

But then we switched to cards, my market sells its games through cards. We basically exchanged trade info and went to my payment methods.
My payment method my rule, as I said before.
You simply dont get the point that I DONT TRADE with people who dont have steam auth. I want my trade to be done quick and simple, all in one trade window. Sorry you dont want to buy a tablet for steam, I get it. I didnt right away either. But once I saw that trading was such a drag I bought a kindle fire off of amazon for like 30 or 50 bucks.
Also congrats on crazy simple online trading completions. Means a lot in this type of hobby. Most of my games were steam gifts, tradeable might I add. So there is no reason for me to jump through all these hoops for your for each game when it can be done quick and easy with steam auth. A few keys. I practically hand them out to friends on steam anyway. Like I care for a few cards for them. Almost all of them are bundle anyway. Some are straight from devs.

2) You have no rules mentioned anywhere, on your reply or even on your own trade post, nor did you even mention any in steam IMz after I mentioned cards or anytime till I said I don't have the auth. So I am wondering how anyone else is to know about your no auth, no trade rule straight up? Doesn't sound like a mistake a person with any REAL business ties would make to me.
3) I mentioned cards since you seemed to mainly deal with them and offered to do the trade with them; doesn't mean we can't go back to trading games for games and gifting any steam gifts to each other, or you just gifting them to me since you never said what games of mine you wanted, if you really wanted a quick trade. It only takes like 5 seconds to send a game as a gift to someone.
4) Your the anal one refusing to go back to games for games trading if you don't want to wait the 15 days for dealing with my cards and just sending each other the steam game gifts if you wanted any of mine.
5) I already admitted my mistake of thinking cards were gift able, and I have already corrected it and mentioned my lack of using the suth on my trade post as of last night.
