and what happens if the key reciever activates it on a second account saying it did not work?
This thread looks like a scamming thread, a middleman in a trade with 2 keys is just useless. With this both traders have just a higher risk to get scammed. You cant check keys but you activate them yourself and then the keys are useless afterwards.

A's key (ABCDE-12345-ABCDE) gives B (ABCDE-12345) and gives me (ABCDE) and vice versa then i give the last bit of the keys to the traders
This just means that each trader could still scam the other trader and that you get the possibility to steal the key in this trade. No higher security at all, you could not check if ABCDE-12345-ABCDE is a legit key or not.
It's much less safer this way and you as a middleman would not add anything to this situation except being another possible scammer.
Any key trade would (SHOULD) require someone to go first. If you were a trusted middleman, it would be your job to determine who the person with higher risk is and have them go first.
The other thing is that you potentially would be holding the trade items in escrow. If one end of the deal goes bad then what? Who would you give the item to? Would you hold on to it till it is figured out? Would people trust you to hold onto their games if something went wrong?
Oh, and it's not like you have the cleanest steamtrades rep either. >_>

How does this middleman thing work?
Ok lets pretend there are two traders, Trader A & Trader B and me.
Trader A & B add me, then Trader A gives the first two parts of a key (Usually xxxxx-xxxxx) to Trader B. Trader B does the same thing to A. Then after both have given keys, they give the last section of the key to me which I then give to the respective traders.
