I've been trading since things weren't as shitty as they are today, and my rep has very little to play in this. If you were just to talk to someone that you traded with about general stuff, you would've learned a lot. I talked about lots of stuff with other high rep people, mainly with UnPunch, SirIronMaiden and palkoV because I've had couple of trades with them, and what I'm saying to you now is what I've learned from them. I wasn't born all knowledgeable, and I'm not spilling wisdom, but more good traders is always good for the site. Don't trust me? Ask them yourself.

I was once trying to trade some games in which I considered fair and was also replied to by a third person of it being exceptionally fair for "Rise of the Tomb Raider". ( -I believe Octobers Monthly 4 months prior to the offer)
But according to the seller, the RotTR Game being in a bundle had little impact on it's current price today, even though I used to see exactly the same as your logic.
Apparently he saw it as Gold that was earning him money in the long run, and was asking me to pay an extra $10 Euro in games beyond the fair rate due to it costing upwards of $20 on G2A.
I think the way people view prices for their games varies on multiple factors;
- Whether they base this price on how often it has been bundled, and deeming the cheapest it's been and using this price as a baseline for selling the game. (you)
- By ignoring the fact it's been bundled and strictly using cheap sites such as G2A, that would allow you to get the game the same as, or cheaper than G2A. While also accepting the price changes reflecting on a games popularity by the increase of price on G2A - still providing a useful benchmark for price checking games. (Andlu)
- By how determined you are to trade for a game you're after, by losing $2 which amounts to the hours of time wasted trying to profit or keep the price equal. You would accept the $2 loss if you could trade some of your old games for something you're really interested in playing then and there. (me sometimes)
tldr; buy on g2a for cheap, sell old games for something you want, try to profit $2 by wasting your time
If someone is asking that high of a price, just find another person. Games that are "top of the month" in a Monthly bundle are often considered worth as the bundle itself, while the rest are sold very cheap. Yes, price can rise over time, especially if you consider the fact that only one Monthly can be bought by person. That's why many people use referral links as a way to getting more of those games. Basically, if you are new subscriber, you use their link and get them the game that they want and you can keep the rest. But even with that, you can only do so much. I sold my Warhammer Total War for 5.5k (around 11$, if the worth of a key is 2$ outside of Steam), but weeks later, price rose to about 9-10k, which was more than a bundle was worth. But those kinds of games are kinda rare. Usually, the price drops fast because they get on sale or they get bundled again in some cheaper bundle.
One other thing is that people will generally avoid trading bundled <> unbundled games, since both sides lose. You would have to give more bundled games than necessary and the other person would have to spend a lot of money getting the game for you, and since you probably value the game differently, person that's buying the game would value it way more than you do, thus demanding more games and so on and so on...
If I were to consider G2A as my source of reference, I could demand way more for the games that I have, since they are pretty good (I usually don't waste money on bad games, or I simply activate them for myself to get higher number on Steam since they are hard to sell and I don't want to waste a lot of time doing this), but even as it stands right now, its pretty hard to sell anything. People usually hit me with those "freebie" games that they got from sites that try to copy HB but have shit games since no one wants to sell their games on their site, and its already hard enough to sell. If I were to look at G2A i could ask even 10+ games for something simple, but sadly, things don't work like that.
There is more to be said on this topic, but I need to go. One advice I can give is to not rush anywhere and to explore. I never search other peoples posts and just refresh mine, and still get good trades from time to time. Also, be friendly and talk, you will most of the time get better price than you would otherwise. Lastly, if you want to be evil, you can prey on other low rep guys. They are usually in a rush to sell their games, or to get something for themselves, so you can get pretty beneficial deals for you.
