I'd make a judgement call when to go first with equally low feedback users/new accounts and especially if the registered Steam account date is very new.
I don't think you'll get Rust, though, based on how much it is valued. You'll probably be able to buy it on Steam for $10 (if it goes on sale) before anyone will trade you a copy.
It might help to add in the description you only want to trade for Rust, but people often will completely ignore what you write anyway.
Thanks for the info Jiseru, always nice to see someone taking the time to advise a noob :). I did have a few people trying to add me on Steam, I just ignored them, no idea who they were. I'm in no rush for Rust, but it's a game id like to have a bash with....just dangling my rod in the pond and if I get a bite then all good. Thanks again for the info.
at worst, you can probably trade games to someone who has extra steam wallet if you want to only trade games for Rust. Rust is VAC-enabled so if you earn a ban then that person can't buy the game to gift to anyone else.
Your account doesn't have one, so some people might be comfortable. Just extra random advice, I guess.
