Always check Steam profile, if the right person added you. Easiest way to do so, is, to be logged in Steam in your Browser, and just click in my Steamtrades Profile on the "Visit Steam Profile" Button. That way you can see, if it is really me who is friends with you now, since there won't be the option "Add as friend" anymore but "Send message" instead, and also you will be able to have the option "unfriend" and other options hidden in the three dots menu, if I am already added as your friend in Steam. I also recommend to only add me that way to your friendlist, to avoid mistakes or typos. This is solely for your own security, don't fall for impostors. If I ever should have contacted you on another platform and gave you my Steamtrade Rep Page, then I will absolutely add you as a friend to my Steam Acc of course. If I gave you this Rep Page but avoid adding you, then it is not me but likely an impostor. Additionally, if you unfortunately should have fallen for an impersonator, then it is not my fault. Doesn't matter how similar their name or profile set-up is to mine: It is your responsibility to be careful and I gave you waterproof voluntarily advices in this paragraph you hopefully read, how to check if it is really me, even if the Account is very similar. So, please do not mistake the crimes of an impersonator for mine. You have all right to call yourself a victim and I am sorry that impersonators exist. But at the same time, legally, I would have the right to call myself a victim, too, because of identity theft/abuse.
