Those 2 assholes who gave you neg rep are just plain assholes. They don't seem to understand English and simple human logic.

I think you should really set your profile to public again. He might not be able to copy data off it this way, but to what can we compare now? As other people also cannot see your profile! I cannot check for games owned or anything right now.
Also, have yourslf get (temporary) negrep which explains the situation. Having negrep is probaly the best way to avoid people impersonating you (if they hand out your profile now, it says 2 negrep, so not likely to be used by scammers).
Edit, and with the explanation, you can still use it yourself as showing you are a trstable trader (first thing I do with negrep is to see what is actually written, and by whom it is posted, in this case somebody with no rep, and somebody with 2 rep, not exactly what I call solid reppers).
