You do know that 16 keys = $40 when the game is $29.99. Just saying, sure it's new but idk.

16 keys at current market price is $36.80 for tf2 and $35.68 for dota 2. Since i would be buying it with cash and trading for keys. Yes, i would want some profit.

I think my price fair. If you want the game early you have to pay.

Trying to profit by actively making people overpay is not the way to do this kinda thing. Seeing as how you insist on paying with money - and if all you want is to get in on the bigger traders list - I would suggest waiting for sales, hold the more demanding games, and then charge more for them when their sales are over, atleast then the deal is win/win; this right here is pretty one sided.

Then you should buy it for $30 and sell it for 15 keys, and make $.16 profit each go.

Why do you think people trade? Fun? The E-Smile people send when they get a game they want?

Profit. Always. Don't harass people because you don't like their prices.

Nobody is harassing anyone. It's not like my comment is the first one either so who's harassing who again?
Second - It was a suggestion, the way some of you people take any sort of criticism or go about trying to gip out people is why there are so many shameless scammers out there. But hey - it was just a suggestion.

Not really overpaying. They are giving me virtual items (they most likely didn't pay for) for a game im dropping $30.00 on, please preach your trading morals elsewhere.

Well, this seems to be the "standard" price for DayZ.
Anyway, i don't get how someone could buy this standalone, when ARMA 2 : CO itself is cheaper (and people can play both dayz & arma with it)...steam/developer logic FTW !! xD

@AliceLyte, I think the OP has the point and the right to sell whatever he wants here, no matter how overpriced or underpriced his things might be. I do understand It's just your opinion though.

@fallofman421, Telling us that you are spending your own $30 to trade against virtual items won't make the deal look better, requesting 16 keys for a $30 is not a good deal at least for me, BUT I wouldn't haggle with the prices because I KNOW that's the most you can deal it and still earn a profit, because there are no discounts for russian/brazilian versions. If someone has a lot of keys but no $$$ they might buy to you.

I think the reason a lot of people are criticizing you in this thread is because you are selling a game without a discount(and generally costs more than the store). One of the reasons people trade here instead of buying straight from the Store is because it is generally cheaper here.(thanks to sales and region prices). For example I have $30 in my steam wallet and I want a $30 game, Most of the times $30 games are cheaper here so I will just buy keys at the market and trade my game instead of buying at the Steam Store, this is not the case with DayZ though.

My advice: better to just stick selling games with discounts, past sales, region prices, to avoid this kind of flak
