The Dungeon Defenders 2 key you've been seeing around is a key that was given out by AlienwareArena. It grants you full access to the game when you activate it on Steam. The difference is that it does not provide any in-game currency for you to use, or any exclusive hero accessories, as you can see from what the Starter Pack provides from the Dungeon Defenders II store page. So yea, it lets you play the game fully, with updates and everything even after it is done with Early Access, the only difference is that you won't get the starter pack or any other pack that you'll normally get when you buy it from the store. So no, it won't disappear after release. Hope that information helps xP If you're interested in the key I'd be willing to trade it for King's Bounty :p
