Just added me for a trade too. I noticed he copied some other guys profile as well. I told him to add me on his other account for verification and he went offline. Very sketchy.
SteamRep is user made site and can only mark as scammers, not give trade bans.
that's what I meant, if he has a trade ban then more ppl will know about him - or am I wrong? Maybe I've got the wrong idea
"Trade ban" is a thing given by Steam on your account, it forbids you from even opening trade window + your profile have orange text "Trade Status: Banned". After some time ban changes to "Trade Status: Under Supervision" and stays like that.

Just tried to scam me, wanted to sell lego LOTR for 10 bucks. Linked me to the real jwackys steamtrade profile, and when i accused him of scam he unadded me.
