just so you know, based on the negative review you got, trading through steamtrades is already against the humble bundle policy, so you're already at risk, after all, you're reselling their keys (retrading) somewhere else
there have been cases of them searching the profile of a potential retrader/reseller on here, and if they find out that they have a humble bundle account, you're locked out of the account and the keys in it, and most if not all your keys might be refunded
Yes. But the keys that I have traded have been used by the person i traded with. Not resold. All I ask is that the people i trade with disclose if they plan on selling them. If they do plan on reselling, then I back out. Very simple
'there have been cases of them searching the profile of a potential retrader/reseller on here, and if they find out that they have a humble bundle account, you're locked out of the account and the keys in it, and most if not all your keys might be refunded'
what you're doing is just as illegal and as easily found by them, if not easier...
Willing to risk it on here instead of g2a. Iām assuming u voted to keep the review since you are trying to convince me Iām wrong. Also, his review is against policy as it is due to me not following thru with a trade. I never scammed him, or gained anything from it. I simply said no
I'm not trying to convince anyone, I'm just saying that what you're doing is just as bad as what resellers are doing in the eyes of humble bundle. You're not wrong but you're not right either
try asking next time before completing a trade, most people do not read through the big threads around here, so they just use the search engine
you didn't gain anything, but he clearly lost something, buying stuff like that for lower rep and then having it cancelled midway is just bad for him. Simply ask when they add you/you add them, and you'll know the answer, then check their threads, as easy as that, without having your reputation being ruined by something so minor. and no, I skipped it, I didn't even vote because in theory no trade happened, but it's still a dick move
Yes i agree. I should ask prior. However, every reseller that contacted me on steam has disclosed they plan on selling, so i assumed all resellers did. Itās my fault for assuming that everyone is logical like that
not everyone reads the entire thread, and I'm sure you don't read the entire thread of everyone you look at. I get people ignoring my rules on one of my threads all the time, all I do is ignore them.
Oh yeah I would love to ignore them too. But i also am going to have to check everyoneās profile prior to look for evidence they resell now. We are both at fault, but itās MY rule that he broke and i gained nothing from backing out of the trade. So it doesnāt count as a scam or anything, he simply -rep because he didnāt get his way
