Yeah, this guy tried to get me, too. Immediately removed me after I brought up the thread.
Just ran into him last night too. He was pretty convincing. When I brought up this thread he said that it was a misunderstanding and that you guys worked it out, then linked me to the real KaoTiKo's profile on this site and said to look at it for vouches. I went to the steam profile from that profile on here and saw that they were too different people. I called him out on his profile being private and he removed me and went offline.
I fell victim to this con sent him the key to the Grid and Autosport had to give me 5 keys TF2. Code took the keys have not received, the user has blocked me on steam. Please all of the attention on him and reporting fraud.
Yes, i have got a impersonator since months, a lot of people report him, i have got a advice in my profile :
"Please beware that there is a imposter using my name and avatar to scam people!! Double check the profiles!! Make sure the comments on profile is enabled to see a +rep!! Like mines!!"
He give my steamtrades profile and have got my same nick and avatar.
I cant doing more and steam dont delete his account...
