Either go into your account detail to see the name of the item you activated have guest pass next to it or go to your view inventory history and highlight the item you received to see if there's guest pass labelled on it with red print description telling you it is limited access.

i just traded a game for cs:s + gmod and a message came up saying somthing like this is a 3 day trial version is the anyway for me now to confirm that it is a trial because if it is a trial version i got scammed. cs:s+gmod is in my library now at i dont see the word trial version anywhere. would it say trial version if it was one?? PLEASE HELP
