Tried to trade with some guy, already forgot his name unfortunately. He's either an idiot or a scammer. I gave him the code BEFORE he gave me his payment (Seemed like an okay guy, so I took a leap of faith.)
He told me that it didn't work and called me a scammer and blocked me instantly. Which is fucking stupid, because he hadn't payed me anything and I even told him to not pay before he got the game!
So, now this trade is still on, but there is a possibility that the code is now used, since I gave it to him. However I did test the code (I already have it in my library so I can test it without losing it) and steam says it works perfectly fine, so it would seem he's just some paranoid idiot and didn't know how to use the code or something.
If you want to trade we'll agree on a trade and I'll give you the code FIRST, so you can be sure I'm not scamming you or that this fucking guy didn't use it.

TL;DR:
The code is possibly lost due to an idiot/scammer, BUT I'LL LET YOU TRY THE CODE BEFORE YOU GIVE ME THE AGREED UPON PRICE.
