Is Dota 2 only beta? Cause I'm planning to buy that one once it comes out, and I don't want to see that once the beta ends I have to buy the game

Yes it is only beta, but I guarantee you'll enjoy the hell out of it lol (you and a friend!).
Its kind of unknown right now. Valve hasn't made it clear whether this game will be retail, free-to-play, or any other model yet. All we know is that while the game is in great shape right now, there is still a lot of heroes to add and bugs to be fixed. This game will definitely be in beta for a while.

It's the beta, 3 day headstart to the full game, and a Hero's band. You would still have to buy the game, but if you were planning on getting it when it comes out and didn't want to spend the money now to get the extra stuff and beta access, this is for you.
So I logged in today on Steam to check daily sales, and found out they gave me access to CS:GO, and an extra copy for gifting. I'm willing to trade it since I'm already downloading mine, so feel free to offer.
