but where do they buy that? it's a gift, it has to be from steam, so how??
I really want that game a none of them can tell me, i got 36$ in my wallet..
gotta love region pricing.
p.s. they will only take keys since anything you can buy from steam store is cheeper for them with some exceptions of u.s. only stuff and cut/noncut versions.
didn't understand, they sell it for keys because what?
and where i can buy that too?
keys are from the market some russians can take paypal but its hard to find one that does since its hard to use for russians.
i know this guy takes paypal but you'ed have to ask his price http://steamcommunity.com/profiles/76561198047102968/
i got a steam wallet of 36$, that's why i'm asking if the buy that from steam or i have to do a charging visa for it
the thing is steam will not let you just change your region or everyone would be from russia =P its easyer to just trade with someone from the cheaper zone than using work arounds.
but if i will redeem my 36.47$ to keys ill get only 16 keys (from market), if i buy that from russian market for myself it will be 900 RUB (27.5$), there's no chance i can do that?
so how do russians get ROW versions? isnt the copy supposed to be for russian only?
ok i saw a copy and there is no ru tag so it must be from a different region.
also you can't just buy from any region from your account without getting banned.
If i buy COD Ghosts from a guy, there's no way he sends a message to steam support that they will cancel the pre-order? because i heard that some preorders were cancel'd.
if you traded everything in the steam window you'll be fine. if the order is canceled you'll get your stuff back and its not easy to get a refund from steam.
i'm afriad of that because a very close freind of main traded 21 tf keys (when it was worth 21) and a week later it was cancel'd, and he didnt get his stuff back
did he contact steam? or did he not do it all in one window trade. anytime someone wants to go outside the window look into the account. age of account, game count and if f2p/indies vs not so cheap games, steamrep, rep from other sites, ect.
you cant buy for that price from your country. you need to visit a page from that country, and have a paypal/credit card from that country.
add ?cc=us at the end of steam game page url to see the us prices, add ?cc=ru to see russian prices. ?cc=de for germany prices.
but if i buy it from an other country i can't redeem it in my country.. won't help.
most are region free. if you look at the store pages with the ?cc=?? (??=region) at the end hover over the "add to cart" you should see a # in the lower corner of the browser. if they are the same as your regions theres no problem. if its different then it could be locked/cut. most sellers should know if its locked or useable for you just ask.
He did it all in one steam window, he got lucky that he bought it from a guy(1), that bought it from an other guy (2) in cheaper, and the guy (1) he bought the game from returned his keys, but i dont think the guy (1) that return the keys got his ones back when he lost 2 copies
steam would have returned the keys anyway but was still nice of the guy to do that.
so you say that a guy with around 50 postive reputation, with around 200+ games should be fine?
200 games seems ok. if your referring to profile comments as rep. don't take them to serious since you can delete bad ones. if its all in the trade window i wouldn't even worry.
badge level and time/games played help also. just look for anything that makes the account not look like it could be thrown away by the owner and them not care.
What is they're gain, 18 keys are 42$, so they have to buy that for cheaper, where do they buy that in lower price??
