Edit: Btw, this is a bit dumb... I don't know why I can't offer all my games. If they add the chance to search the posts content in the search box then I will understand this a bit, but if you don't add a game in a title it will be invisible to searchers :-/
The problem is that only the first page gets attention since most people don't bother look beyond that. So, if everyone opened many threads, it will be a problem for everyone else. So, in order to give everyone a fair chance, they've set the maximum of two (different) threads per user.
It may not be perfect, but it's certainly better than the alternative.
