He looks legit with all the +rep from highly repped traders. So it may have been hard to realize if you may have been scammed from this guy. Although his profile is private, so I can't determine if his profile shows signs of possible scamming.
I have made a steamrep post (link if anyone wants it (http://forums.steamrep.com/threads/76561198028597541-leadri-x.21942/) I had a feeling it might be phishy but I just thought the rep was good.
Yeah the rep did look good, but having a private profile may be a sign of a scammer. Usually indicates that the trader has something to hide, so its risky in that regard.
Sorry you got scammed, but reporting him to steamrep will greatly reduce the chances he may be able to scam others with that account.
That's not me! I'm not responsible for this! I never made a trade with you! You should click "View Steam Profile" and check profile URL before made a trade! That's not my problem you dont know how to use this site and you dont know how to trade or how to check a profile!
In steamrep report you say "http://steamcommunity.com/id/**ledari/ scammed me" and in here you say "steamcommunity.com/id/leadri** scammed me"
you dont even realize these are different profiles, do you?
my profile is "leadri" (if you did click "view steam profile" link before made a trade you would see that)
and "ledari" is a scammer who impersonating me! I already reported him to steam! and you scammed by that guy, not by me!
You can CLEARLY see just by looking at the profiles that xyz123 is innocent here.
Here is the scammer's profile: http://steamcommunity.com/id/ledari/ - notice how the image and name is the SAME as it is in the chat image that Khedgey posted as evidence.
HOWEVER, if you look at xyz123's steam profile: http://steamcommunity.com/id/leadri/ the name may be the same, but you can CLEARLY see the other is an imposter.
Khedgey, i urge you to take back your negative feedback, as you are both victims here. - You should report the REAL scammer, not this guy. :/

deleted my posts. Looks like he isn't the scammer. But he does have an impersonator. Still think the private profile is suspicious, an d he acted like a jerk to the actual victim who lost something in trade but hey, everyone can do things how they want.
Hopefully the impersonator gets marked in steamrep. Working with the OP regarding other proof might be smart.
I'm also a victim here! It's his fault not mine! He should check profile properly. I reported impersonator to steam. What else can I do?
Also using a private profile is my concern and my privacy. Sometimes I made my profile public and sometimes I made it private. As I said it's my privacy.
I understand - you are both victims. One, however lost buds, and one has an impersonator. You probably should just add the OP and chat with him

What's my fault? Stop blaming me continuously. He lost buds I lost nothing? I lost trust! just because of OP's carelessness! He doesnt event notice difference between two different URL.
