Yes I learned that lesson the hard way when I lost out on my Sleeping Dogs + I Am Alive for Not Tradable Dishonored. Steam gave me quite the reprimand and I had to apologize. Luckily I got my games back since I traded them thru Steam Window and took the liberty of buying Dishonored for cheap on Greenmangaming. Again Please refrain from trading on those that have Not Tradable copies of the games. When the person traded me their Dishonored I found out they did it under a stolen account.
That's good but be careful if you do get it simply contact Steam Support and tell them your reason and if you traded the game through steam window or gifted them you can try getting them back. I had my account restricted for a week and I missed out on two great deals because of it and I sure had the fury of a thousand suns towards the fraud.
by the way...you are friends with a scammer...there is a good Overslop here and a bad one here. The one you are friends with is the bad guy and has been known for impersonating people that have good feedback. If you look at his past names, you will see people like BernardOne. Unfriend/block all communications with the one you are friends with.
That was the guy who add me as edchaos a few days ago (just noticed as is the only person i have blocked atm), and immediately contact the real edchaos and warn him. So easy to avoid... Sorry about your loss, just triple check before trading someone.
