Yes, i'm not sure if it works here, but sometimes if you sent them picture of you having the REAL code they might recover it in case it has been stolen. That's why I don't really trust keys...
But as said BF3 might not have so good/whatever customer service. This works with some games... tested.

So I got scammed this guy http://steamcommunity.com/id/YHhghghzx/ want to pay me(paypal) and we have an agreement I gave him the key and he pretend that he sent me money but then he removed me...but this is interesting that he showed that he have rep 84+ on this site http://www.steamtrades.com/user/sagasta ... of course he changed his name, I got lucky that he didnt activate the key but I do at least I have my game now
