I can sell each one for five keys with ease after the sale is over (Many people even do it for 8). I trade keys for 1.20 cash each and 5 keys would mean 6 bucks. I don't want 20 dollars worth in keys, that would be ridiculous but I'm not trading them for 3 bucks either, that's too low.
I'll pass unless a friend wants gmod but even then I wouldn't do a 1:1 trade for it.

Because last week various sites gave out tons of keys for free as well as it was on sale for 75% off. 75% of $20 is $15, therefore the game was $5. Buy a four pack and that's 4 copies for $15 which is LESS than $5 along with the influx of free copies and various keys. I'm only "one of those people" in your thread because I'm sick of seeing people try to exploit others. I'll give you Borderlands GOTY or 2 keys, your choice.
I don't need keys, I need Payday and I don't want to wait until this weekend when it goes for $5 again.
You're probably new to trading so let me explain to you a few points:
- Where the copy came from, be it 4 pack or out of my ass is my problem and not yours. What if I paid 20 bucks for it? Would you think it's more worthy because of that? Individual price for it is what matters, mainly because nobody has the luxury to buy 4 packs for everything, not to mention said thing can be done only ONCE.
It's a risk-reward bet WE take, you don't do shit so you get no benefits, we risk money, we get profit and benefits. Economy works like that, deal with it.

We trade for what we want, if you don't like somebody else's price you can go to another thread. My price is as fair as anybody's and I'm not gonna lower it just because you want to exploit ME. Don't think you're suddenly a martyr for trying to get payday for 2 miserable keys, you're just a lowballer at best.

It is true that there are keys for this game available as well. In trading the tradeable items are worth more than keys because they are safer to deal with (Basically you avoid scamming with the whole "you go first"). Not to mention that you have the ability to freely trade again said item if you don't want to use it for yourself. Heck you can even gift it to somebody else while he's offline.

If you want the game for yourself and think your pathetic excuse is OK then I suggest you to take your 2 damn keys and go find somebody else with a payday steam key and pray to not to get scammed by the guy. Be sure to go to steamrep to check if he's marked as a scammer first tho ;) .

I don't even have 2 keys at the moment. I was willing to buy two of them for $5. If you paid $20 for it, that's unfortunate. But it doesn't really matter as long as you're happy with what you paid.
To me, the money doesn't matter. I just hate the concept of people gouging others with high prices when something is obviously worth less than what they're charging. I appreciate the lesson on how the economy works but I fail to see how any of this is really risk versus reward.
Also, Borderlands GOTY is worth more than PAYDAY.

Payday for 5 bucks is not a high price at all and people get games to trade them later for a price a BIT higher (Really, you're literally complaining about 3 dollars or so and you call me out for high prices? Please), otherwise we would just... you know, KEEP the money and spend it later?
Borderlands GOTY is worth the same as payday in trading. I mean literally the difference in price is of cents! (Divide the store price by 4 in both games and compare), you can't possibly measure or even consider that in a trade, you're embarrassing yourself complaining about that.
I got that one from a 4 pack as well, it even had the same discount and it's ALSO on discount all the damn time.
What applies to ME applies to YOU. We (The people who trade for real, not scammers who get 5 bucks worth games for 2 keys) don't even care about prices on store but prices on the trading market.
