Anyone asked for your opinion? No. So maybe you mind your own business, ok? This site is for trading, not for messing in other peoples' trades, right?

yes fair trading, not ripping people off, 2 keys for a 2 games from a 1 doller active bundle is disgusting

Did you write that in every other trade offer, where people want more than 1$ for those games? No? So please, hurry up! :P

i could understand if the bundle was not active any morebut it is, lets put it into perspective

this is what the bundle contains

Games:

Bionic Dues - Steam
Syberia I & Syberia II - Steam
Steel & Steam - Greenlight, DRM-free
Airship Dragoon - Greenlight, Desura, DRM-free

Music:

Johnny Hollow - Collection - Bandcamp
Sxip Shirey - Sonic New York - Bandcamp
This Way To The Egress - Caged Bird EP
Spiky - Carnival Symposium

Comics + ebooks:

Tales of Jack The Ripper (ebook)
19XX Book One: Rise of the Black Faun (comic)
Cities of Ether (ebook)
Steampunk (comic)
Wildside Press Megapack 1 (ebooks)

Bonuses:

2,000 - Blood of the Innocent 1-4 (comic)
Locked...
Locked...
Locked...

so it contains 14 items right now and 17 items total for 1 doller

and you want 4 doller for 2 items of this 17 item bundle which is still active, if you cant see that its a terrible deal an rip off to anyone who is unaware of the groupees steam punk bundle, then you might actually be the thickest person on the planet

So what? I don't need that game, that's why I want to trade it. Don't you think I didn't check how much other people want for it? 1 key or more? So what should I do? Offer it for 1 card, just because it was bundled? Yeah, right.

where did you see syberia keys for 1 tf2 key or more? this is the first time i see something ask for so much. maybe you saw syberia gifts, which is a completely different story.

btw, i agree that this is kind of a rip-off, to be honest. ^^

What's the difference between Syberia gift and Syberia key? It is not the same game? Do you have to pay more when you buy a gift on Steam?

yes, of course. way more.

I don't compare price of the key from bundle and price of the gift bought on Steam. I mean, for end user - what is the difference, if it gets key and activate it, or gets a gift and activate it? I think it still be the exact same game. If you are so smart - please explain me the difference.

the difference is, that paying 2$ during sale and asking for 3$ afterwards is reasonable. paying like 0.20$, but asking for 4$ is what most people call a rip-off. what if you bought these games from someone for 2 keys, and then you discovered that you could have bought them for just a few cents. wouldn't you be angry?

other traders here ask for something like 1-3 ref, which is way more reasonable in my opinion.

Gifts are more versatile and reliable for trading purposes (they can be posted on sites such as tf2outpost, or bots like dispenser.tf), plus they can be used for Playblink giveaways, and are sometimes kept in inventories by collectors, though that generally only matters for games removed from steam. Occasionally you'll see a trade where somebody has a gift and plans to activate it, so someone else with a spare key offers to trade the key plus a little extra in exchange for the gift. In terms of actual difference for someone who just wants to play the game though, yeah, it's the same game in the end.

As was said though, selling a part of a bundle for more than the entire bundle costs when the bundle is still being sold is definitely something most people would consider a rip-off and it's the kind of thing that gives traders a bad name. If you insist on making a profit from it, then you should at least wait until the bundle is over, then you have the justification that you're giving a decent deal to those who missed the opportunity to get the bundle, though I still think you'd be overcharging.

And that's a good explanation (not just whining "rip-off, rip-off..."). Thank you, I thnik you've opened my eyes, I should've waited with this one. I'm gonna close it.

It's his trade thread. Whether he's trading for 1 or 100000 keys - his business. You as a trader/buyer decide if you want or don't want to buy. Everything is ok, as long as policy and rules aren't broken.

ripping off might not be against the rules but its not wats its about, common decency is needed, none is evident.
