Is it a gift account? Or is it already made?

Because if it's already made then you can recover and/or change the password for that account whenever you want since it's tied to you.

Its an account, but you can change everything : email, password, secret question, personnal infos, etc.

can never change the user name though, except in a MOD that is what i have seen, is this true? it is the only thing keeping me from making an offer

You can change the login name (the login name is your email adresse)

That's a migrated account. You cannot change the email address either. There are no secret questions, this person is leading you on.
