Yeah, you can verify identity by checking profile of the person you are trading with and matching their steam id tags.
Once an hour, but can be manually bumped with every comment.
Thanks for the help so far.
I had one more question then that's it. Last time I traded, a few years ago, and I think this is what confused me. I think I used a website, where you could send it a list of games and it would tell you, which ones you didn't own? I think that is why I thought there was a website to verify identity, because I remember using a website when trading.
Is there still a website, where you can send it a list, and it will tell you, which games, are not in your steam account?
Hey I know what you're thinking of. I think you're talking about http://compare2steam.com/
This is NOT a trade post. I haven't traded on here for 3 years. I wanted to ask a couple questions.
1st) Is there still a website around that allows you to verify your identity and the identity of the person you are trading with (to make sure it is really the same person as on here). There was something like that around, a few years ago, when I was trading here.
2nd) How often are you allowed to bump your thread. I believe it was once a day, 3 years ago, and was wondering if it changed now to more often, or not at all, or whatever?
