I was having the same issue, then I contacted mods many times(believe me they don't look when u send a message once). I switched the browsers and tried again. Between these two, one of the solutions worked for me, I don't know which one as some time later when I tried to send message, it wasn't deleted. So try both of the solutions, one might work ig.
