You see there are people who received like 30+ Dota2/CS GO beta invites and they have sold them for Skyrims, Buds, for ~$40 and that was really unfair from Valve but yea they received those free and others payed them well (some still do)..
Yeah, these dota's are other story, which I also did not understand. I would never buy skyrim or blobs 2 and trade it for dota's. It's so stupid to me...
cs:go beta and dota2 betas are not common (and drop in price as they became more common) the coupons and steam beta (not a game my i add) are owned by 1 in 10 steam users.
I support this I was even thinking about making a thread saying this im tired of getting on here the last few days and the threads be spam fucked with "beta access" "portal 2 coupon" So thank you for making this :)
Supply and demand
Like someone said, CS GO and Dota 2 were in high demand, but low supply so people were willing to spend money to get it. I doubt anyone is that eager to see the new game hubs, but some people do have more money than brains so it's possible.
As for the coupons, unless they stack with another discount or offer more than 75% off, they're useless.
I also support this. Topics which are just for coupons and community access are annoying. If they mention them as part of their inventory (which actually has games), it isn't as much of an issue. I can see trading them for indie keys or something but a number of people here and elsewhere think a couple of Portal 2 coupons can get them CS:GO.
Please don't take this personal, but the only thing I think is ridiculous is people getting pissed off by this and actually taking the time to respond/create troll threads. If you haven't noticed, this is the internet and not a single f*ck is given by anybody if you are angry or sad or happy about what people are trying to trade.
I bet most of the people who are offering Steam Community Beta and are reading this are laughing out loud. I think you guys need to get over it and learn to ignore what is irrelevant and focus on your own business.
The only thing I can think of why this pisses off people is the fact that they saw somebody get something decent for their beta access and are furious that they did not manage to do the same.

Steam is coool.. give you some coupons and beta's on games,
but I want YOU to understand THAT - NO ONE will give you games and stuff they payed for for this kind of things.
Valve gave you 2-3 coupons/betas for you and your friends, not to sell them.
So please do yourself an offer and stop making stupid topics and fuck.
