Make sure you have newest vga driver and that you are not running on Battery Saving profile, that you are running on discrete graphics (not sure if that asus have it switchable)...

This update should have helped, are you sure you did all of these?
-Have your power profile NOT on Battery saving
-Drivers updated to the latest 12.2?
-Updated game, while it was off :p, restarted steam or maybe even restarted your notebook?
the computer to reinstall,as an unwanted program, due to the low fps..(virus can also be) . If this is done,the latest VGA DRIVER be installed. :)
hmm, update both your radeon?(or nvida?) and intel video drivers,and then go to your video card settings and change auto select to high performance card

In your task manager set the priority of the game to High.

Hey, I currently have The Asus G73JH-A2 And When i'm playing Alan Wake, I notice that im getting around 20-25 fps on the lowest settings!Is there any fix to this lag? So i can get more fps ? First Useful person who helps me gets a dota 2 Gift.
