His new name is GTFO, but the Steam ID is the same.
You can check him via Steam ID!
If somebody is expert about same steal issues, please help me, what should I do in this situation. I have some reward!
I'm not use to trade here. :(
You can report him on http://steamrep.com/... but other than that, there's not much you can do, I'm afraid... What happened exactly?
I had 2 steam keys (2 indie games), and he wanted to give me Portal1 gift. He opened the trade window, put Portal1 into it, then i sent the keys and in the next minute he left and blocked me.
I think he also read this, because then he just set his profile to private, so nobody can see him now. Anyway, i wont give up, i will report him as many way as I can, and I will check his profile in every 5 minutes.
Is he from Latvia? Because I can see his profile. Maybe he blocked you?
Just report him on the site I linked when the site for reporting is online again. You should always check and see if users have any warnings on their account using Steamrep before you trade with them.
Also, leave some negative reputation on his SteamTrades profile so others know not to trade with him.

I think this would be his SteamTrades profile, but its invalid for me. Can you check it?
No, the Steamtrades username is not always the same as a person's name on steam. Were you trying to trade with him through Steamtrades? If he made a post in your thread, you can click on his name from there to access his Steamtrades user page.
Oh, I hate it when people do that... try using "Viesturs" then, since that was his name to begin with.
But the guy who scammed you is also from Latvia? He probably made an alternate account just to scam people with =/... I'm thinking they MAY be the same person since it would be too much of a coincidence for them to be from the same place and have the same name.. but then again, you can't be 100% sure.
Anyway, you should always ask people for their SteamTrades profile before you trade with them, because anybody can view threads on SteamTrades and just add you randomly.
He is from Latvia too, if I remember correctly.
And maybe it was a scrammer account, but he had on 100 hours of gameplay in the last 2 weeks. He plays mostly with Counter Strike.
Now his steam profile is private, but i'm sure, he will be visible again, if he want to trade in the future.
Please always check who you trading with. If the guys profile is private, thats even more suspicious.
OKAY, he read this topic, because he modified hes short url again, but i got his REAL url!!

Now he cant run away.
No evidence, no report.
Easy at it is, if you have no screenshots, there won't be a mark on steamrep or even a real steam ban.
Yeah I know, I'm just trying to protect his next victims. And I can hold his negative reputation constantly. It works for me.
I just reported him! More will come!
